4.3.6. revitalization of the old market

The city's old market, also known as the “fair shed” (alluding to the fair that took place there, under its roof), houses the imagination of other times, invoking a past of growth for Iara. I proposed the revitalization of the market, with the reopening of its closed establishments, the creation of furniture for the market stalls and the resumption of the traditional São João festivities, which used to take place in its surroundings.
